Choose the garment first
Start with the workwear that suits the role and site requirements. Then assess how the logo can be applied. A branding method suitable for one fabric may not suit another, especially where the garment has coatings, mesh sections or particular construction details. Ask for the method to be confirmed for each selected product.
Decide what needs to be visible
A company logo, department name and individual identifier serve different purposes. Keep the brief clear and provide the exact wording. Placement should be considered around pockets, seams and reflective material. Avoid assuming that a large design can be placed anywhere just because the photograph shows an apparently open area.
Supply useful artwork
Upload the best logo file you have and explain the preferred size and position. If several versions exist, identify which one should be used. Tell the team about any brand colour requirements. The artwork may need preparation before production, so include these details early rather than after the garment order has been approved.
Approve an accurate order
Review artwork spelling, logo version, placement and the garment allocation. Confirm quantities and sizes alongside the branding details. Keep the approved artwork with the final quotation for future reference. If the garment changes on a later order, reassess branding compatibility instead of assuming the previous process will still be appropriate.
